EcoSync, the ROCP-backed tech start-up founded by Oxford University engineers, is delighted to announce that it has won the Climate Crisis Initiative Student Property Award at the Student Accommodation Awards 2022. A record number of guests came along to the Intercontinental, London 02 on 7 December to gather insights into the fast-moving Student Accommodation sector, as well as to network with colleagues at the premier event for the UK housing industry.

Edward Rowlandson, Group Managing Director, the RO, said:

"We are delighted that this exciting and important business in which we invested, and its first class management team, has been recognised in these prestigious awards, only in EcoSync's second year of commercial operations. Congratulations to EcoSync and a massive thank you to Property Week, Shoosmiths, and all the other sponsors and judging panel."

EcoSync is a technology start-up out of Oxford University offering innovative dynamic, room-byroom energy management solutions for commercial buildings across the UK, with a mission to reduce energy waste and stop the heating of empty rooms.

EcoSync's technology intelligently adapts temperature controls according to changing occupancy levels and is driven by real-time data collection and machine learning digital twins of every radiator, room, and building, achieving energy savings of between 30-50%.
